InfoTrack Case Study

Between January 2016 and October 2017, I worked as a UX/UI Designer at InfoTrack—a rapidly growing legal search technology provider based in Sydney, Australia.

I joined the team as the sole designer, collaborating closely with a 20-person development team, which later grew to 60+ by mid-2017.
‍
Over this period, I worked across multiple core products—ranging from legacy UI improvements to designing brand-new digital tools—and ultimately led the full redesign of InfoTrack’s legal search platform.

The Challenge

InfoTrack’s platform had grown rapidly, but its user interface was fragmented, dated, and increasingly difficult to scale. Legal professionals—mainly conveyancers—needed a cleaner, more intuitive way to manage large volumes of complex search data. At the same time, the business was launching several new workflow tools that required seamless integration into the InfoTrack ecosystem.

The Solution

I led the UX and UI design for a complete redesign of InfoTrack’s flagship platform. The goal was to create a unified, user-centered experience that would work across the platform’s growing ecosystem—including integration with legal practice management systems.
‍
Key initiatives included:

Designing intuitive workflows for data-heavy legal processes

Creating modular components and a scalable visual language

Improving accessibility and responsiveness across devices

Designing new tools including SignIT, PlanIT, SettleIT, MapIT, Agent ID, and more

Collaborating daily with developers to bring designs to life in an agile environment
